There is one millionaire out there who is going to have a few million less in his portfolio after being sued over a drunk driving accident. Barron Hilton, the hotel heir and younger brother of Paris Hilton, lost a multimillion-dollar lawsuit stemming from an incident where he ran down a gas station employee.

According to the lawsuit, the day in question began with Mr. Hilton's girlfriend driving his Mercedes-Benz and getting into a collision with another vehicle. After that car crash, which was not the subject of the lawsuit against Barron Hilton, Mr. Hilton got behind the wheel. He reportedly drove the wrong way down a highway for a number of miles, then pulled into a gas station.

As he pulled into the gas station, Barron Hilton struck an employee. It was as a result of this second collision that Mr. Hilton has been ordered to pay millions in damages.

Baton Rouge drunk driving accident attorneys noted that news reports related that shortly after hitting the man who was the plaintiff in the lawsuit, Mr. Hilton was arrested and charged with drunk driving. His blood-alcohol level was .14.

The judge in the gas station attendant's lawsuit has ordered Barron Hilton to pay $4.9 million in damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost income.

In addition, the judge also ordered Mr. Hilton to pay $225,000 in punitive damages and almost $71,000 in interest.
